Frequently Asked Questions

Is it possible to meet the wedding DJ before booking?

Absolutely, to be honest unless you live a very long way away you would be foolish to simply book someone because you think you may be good!

We always like to meet our clients before they book our services. You can't beat meeting someone face-to-face and it's a great opportunity for you to 'check us out' and it gives us a better understanding of what your requirements are.

We have invested in a dedicated office and showroom to best support our clients, you can also see our lighting in action!

Can I see you perform at a wedding reception?

No! we're sorry but our policy is NOT to allow viewing of our services at wedding receptions or other private functions.

It would be unethical of us to allow a stranger to "pop-in" and watch even a few minutes of someones big day.  It would give the impression that we care more about the "next booking" than anything else!

We would much rather lose a booking than allow our clients to feel compromised. Look at our client testomonials as these are proof of very happy clients (original cards etc on file).

How much do you charge?

This is difficult to answer without knowing about your wedding plans first. We are not being evasive, just honest.

Anyone that simply packages their services to you could be selling you short. No bronze, silver or gold packages here as we will only recommend exactly what will work best at your event and venue, we may offer a few options but we certainly won't sell you something that you either don't need or won't work on your big day!

Considering our experience and reputation would you honestly want to take a chance on booking a hobbyist?

How early will you arrive prior to the start of our wedding reception?

Unless we have already setup our equipment earlier in the day, our arrival time is guaranteed to be at least 60 minutes prior to the contracted  music start time.

You are never charged for this except if there is any extra time required outside of 60 minutes i.e. the venue requires setup hours earlier. If this is required then you will be charged a nominal early set-up fee per hour.

Do you perform in other areas of the country?

Yes we do - Although Cambridge is our base, and we know all of the venues in the area, we regularly perform in other areas of the country.

We make an additional charge based upon mileage and transit time but this represents a relatively small part of the overall cost.

Many people see us perform and want to book us for their entertainment.

What if something goes wrong and you are unable to make it on the night?

We have never let anyone down and because we are a team of DJs there is always someone available to cover if anything goes wrong!
