If you are looking for an experienced, professional entertainment company who are committed to entertaining you and your guests on your very special day then look no further!
Cambridge Sound also provide DIY solutions, allowing you to supply your own entertainment via one of our DIY disco packages. Whether you want to use an IPod or play CDs we have a solution available for hire from stock.
Right from the very start we listen to your requirements, only then do we suggest the right presentation style, sound system and lighting for your big day. We promise to play your choice of music on the night (see our wedding music promise) using our "state of the art" music playout and sound systems from Yamaha, Denon and JBL (see our equipment). With a huge collection of music available on the night, we're guaranteed to have something for everyone and we're licence to play it to you! (seeProdub)
We work hard to ensure that your entertainment is a huge success on the night, liaising closely with you and your wedding events and catering suppliers before and during "the big day" and leaving nothing to chance.
It's hardly surprising that many of our partners consider us to be the leading wedding entertainment specialists in the area and recommend us to their own clients. We certainly do have the experience and commitment to ensure that your event goes with a bang, rather than a fizz.
NB: It's a legal requirement to use equipment that is electrically safe and not a risk to public safety. In our opinion it's also common sense but it's amazing how many disco's simply don't or can't be bothered to have their equipment independently PAT safety tested and certified accordingly. Ours is checked annually and we inspect all cables and connections before every event to ensure that everything will be safe and functioning correctly on the night. For your peace of mind we carry PLI (public liability insurance) to the value of £5M.
You may be interested to know that we also work with our sister company Cambridge Sound Partners on many other events during the year including; Dance Factor, Grand Arcade Christmas events, radio station roadshows, college balls, conferences and a few large public events.
So who is behind Cambridge Sound and how experienced are they?
Darryl Flinders is a full-time professional DJ and has been entertaining people for over 25 years.
When you book a DJ for your very special day you need to be absolutely certain that they have the experience and professional attitude to make it a huge success.
Darryl works closely with a team of 3 DJ's and a VJ. He is the business owner and a highly experienced DJ, host and presenter, he has worked in various areas of the entertainment sector including small, medium and very large specialist events including wedding entertainment, college balls, broadcast and recording services, outside broadcasts and specialist entertainment for large corporate events.
Rest assured, you are in the hands of a team of very professional and highly experienced individuals, working together to ensure that your very special evening is remembered for all of the right reasons!

When you complete an on line enquiry or provide your details to us via telephone or some other method for the purposes of requesting a quotation from us your information is held on our secure customer service database and will be used for providing you with pricing or information on our services as requested. We will not disclose your details to a third party without your consent.
Should you wish to not receive ongoing information from us please send an email to: stopcomm@cambridgesound.co.uk and your details will be removed from our marketing database.
Whilst we store financial transactions on our accounts system to satisfy compliance with HM tax and accounting requirements we never store your credit or debit card details after a transaction is completed.
