Not all DJs are the same and at Cambridge Sound we do things very differently. We focus 100% on your requirements, rather than simply providing entertainment options from a menu or playing the same old tracks over and over again, sound familiar?

Whilst most mobile discos play the same tracks at every event (many mobile disco operators are part-time and use a standard set list) we know that to make your evening a huge success we have to play the right mix of music and 'read' the dance floor to ensure that your favourite tracks are played at the right time!
We'll recommend a few party classics to keep your guests dancing, but it's your choice and it's your big day, we want to guarantee that your evening is a huge success, that comes with the experience that only a professional can guarantee!
Cheese or no cheese?
Often our clients ask us to play "cheesy" party music but don't worry, remember our music policy, we are not a typical disco playing non-stop cheese all night and it's only played when requested and approved by you.
If it's a "fromage-free" evening you want just tell us and we will be happy to oblige! Some couples have a strict "no cheese" policy, others love it, in our experience it often fills the dance floor but It's really up to you and we're happy to discuss your own preferences and ensure that you feel comfortable with everything that's played, after all it is your big day and we want to ensure that that it's perfect on the night!

We know that getting the lighting absolutely right on the night is vital, It's an essential ingredient in creating the right mood for your evening and we offer a lighting design service to our clients. We can colour theme your venue, inside and out, and our stock of outdoor lighting allows us to illuminate everything from a small shrub up to a large building!
We use intelligent lighting effects, creating the perfect backdrop and completely changing the look and feel of the room that you may have used for your meal during the day!
Silk flames, DMX uplighters, mood projection equipment, star curtains and lasers are all at our disposal and just the right combination looks fantastic.
