At Cambridge Sound we do things very differently, focusing exclusively on your requirements. We always listen to what you have to say, offering practical tips and advice based upon our own experience (over 25 years).

Whilst most mobile discos play the same tracks at every wedding (many mobile disco operators use a standard set list) we know that to make your evening a huge success we have to get the right mix of music on the night and we have to 'read' the dance floor to ensure that your favourite tracks are played at the right time!
We play your choice of music and provide the type of wedding entertainment that reflects your unique personality and style (see our wedding music promise).
We'll recommend a few party classics to keep your guests dancing, but it's your choice and it's your day! Share your favourites with us and we'll play them, tell us the tracks (or genre) that you don't like and we won't!.

Cheese or no cheese?
Often our clients ask us to play "cheesy" party music on the night, our response is normally " would that be vintage or modern cheese?"
But don't worry, remember our music policy, we are not a typical disco playing non-stop cheese all night and it's only played when requested and approved by you.
If it's a "fromage free" evening you want just tell us and we will be happy to oblige! Some couples have a strict "no cheese" policy, others love it, in our experience it often fills the dance floor but It's really up to you and we're happy to discuss your own preferences and ensure that you feel comfortable with everything that's played, after all it is your big day and everything has be right on the night!
Add a little lighting magic!
We know that getting the lighting absolutely right on the night is vital. It's an essential ingredient in creating the right mood for your party.
Be warned, a lot of discos still focus on flashing lights and old style lightboxes, paying more attention to how their equipment looks, rather than creating the "WOW" factor for you and your guests as you enter the room for the first time!
We use intelligent lighting effects, creating the perfect backdrop and completely changing the look and feel of the room that you may have used for your meal during the day!
Silk flames, DMX up lighters, mood projection equipment, star curtains and lasers are all at our disposal and just the right combination looks fantastic.
